What is Heol Bras?

A free app created by Soleil Vert, an energy broker in Brittany. It reads your electricity bill, explains it line by line and compares your contract with market offers to show you how much you could save. The app is currently in French.

Is it really free?

Yes. The app is free, with no sign-up and no obligation.

Do I need to create an account?

No. No account, no email address: just take a photo of your bill and the app does the rest.

Which bills can the app read?

Electricity bills from the main French suppliers, as a photo (both sides) or a PDF. The offers compared are for households and small businesses, up to 36 kVA of subscribed power.

What happens to my bill and my data?

The photo is analysed and then immediately discarded: it is not stored on any server. The information taken from your bill stays only on your phone and is deleted if you uninstall the app.

How are the suggested suppliers chosen?

The selection is neutral and independent: no supplier pays to be featured. Offers are compared on their total price, subscription and taxes included, for a fair comparison.

What if my contract is already the right one?

The app will tell you. There is no need to switch if your offer is already among the best value.

Are the savings shown guaranteed?

They are estimates, based on your bill and on market offers. They help you decide but are not contractual advice: always check the offer’s terms with the supplier.

How does switching supplier work?

The app gives you the supplier’s contact details and the information to give them, including your supply point number (PDL). The switch happens with no power cut: your supply continues as normal.

Which phones does the app work on?

Heol Bras is designed for Android phones and iPhones. It uses the camera to photograph your bills, or your files to import a PDF.
